Santa Claus "Believe" Christmas Ornament, Handmade from Wool and Wire, Made to Order

This Santa Claus ornament is handcrafted with love for everyone who still believes! Santa's sweet face and Christmas message will bring warmth and cheer to your holidays for years to come!

Every Santa ornament is carefully handcrafted. I start each one by carefully creating Santa's message out of a length of brass wire and then hammering it to a lovely finish. Then, like my other Santa ornaments, I use soft fluffy wool to build a blank face. From there, I sculpt Santa's features: eyes first, then nose, cheeks, mouth, and eyelids. Then, each Santa gets bushy eyebrows and a wonderful white beard and hair. The hat and trim are added last.

Aside from his glass eyes and brass wire message, every part of this Santa is needle felted, which means he takes hours to create. This is why I require two weeks of processing time for every order.

Believe ornaments are made from brass wire and multiple varieties of wool and silk. They have glass eyes, white wool beards, and natural silk accents. They are about five inches tall and hang from a silk ribbon.

Believe ornaments are MADE TO ORDER, which means they will not ship until one to two weeks after you check out! This processing period does not include weekends or holidays. I always try my best to make every ornament worth the wait!

Believe ornaments are needle felted. Needle felting is the process of using a barbed needle to join fibers together. When the fibers are stabbed with the needle, the barbs cause the fibers to entwine. Artists vary the depth, direction, and pressure of the stabbing in order to transform loose fiber into sculptures. This often takes many, many hours.

Believe ornaments are not a toy for small children. As the beloved symbol of the magic of Christmas, Santa is very, very busy this time of year does his best work away from tiny hands and paws.
